2023 Ford F-250 Lariat crew cab 4x4, 6.7 Power Stroke, 10 speed, 6 3/4 ft box, 29,400 miles, Antimatter Blue. sat at a lender yard in Springfield, Missouri. sealed bid of 57,900 through Lake Park Auto Connection.
second try. in august i bid 49,000 on a 2022 F-350 XLT out of Omaha and lost. no number, just a note that mine wasn't high. i was sore for a day, then glad, because it had cloth seats and i would have looked at them every morning wishing.
comps: two 23 F-250 Lariat diesels in Sioux Falls at 64,995 and 66,800, both with fewer miles, and one here in Aberdeen at 67,400 with the Ultimate package. dealers around here also add a 349 doc fee and act like it is carved in stone.
delivery was free and it was day 14 on the nose. i am service manager at an implement dealer in town, so it went up on our hoist the next morning. brakes at 60 percent, no leaks, tires at 7/32.

nice truck. on the 23 6.7, change both fuel filters on time or early and drain the water separator every few fills in winter. the high pressure pump does not forgive water, and on every modern diesel, Ford or not, that is the big bill. use Motorcraft filters, not a parts store cartridge.
and run the VIN for open recalls. whoever owned a repo usually quit opening the mail.

next morning for me. i asked for a video of the power running boards, because the motors on those go, and sure enough the passenger side was slow. bid anyway and knocked a little off.
it was packed with Missouri red clay in the linkage. hosed it out, greased the pivots, works like new, cost nothing. the real downside of how i bought it is the one up top. i lost the truck i wanted first, and with blind bids you never learn how close you came.

before anything heavy goes in that bed, read the payload on the door. diesel plus all the Lariat goodies eats it up. my F-350 was 3,100 and a fifth wheel used most of it.

when you plated it in SD, did they charge excise on your 57,900 or look the truck up in a book? ND went off wahpeton's bid, but i have heard some states use a retail value.

off the bill of sale. SD is 4 percent, so 2,316, at the Brown County treasurer. about as painless as wahpeton said. door payload is 2,774 by the way, so a fifth wheel was never the plan, it pulls a 20 ft flatbed with a Bobcat for work.
if you are watching the lake park listings for a Super Duty, ask for the running board video. on a Lariat that is the one thing i would look at twice.
